We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Human Resources Manager to provide strategic leadership and governance of the firm’s Human Resources function. This role is responsible for aligning people strategies, policies, and practices with the firm’s mission and business objectives, while ensuring consistency and excellence across all HR operations. 


Responsibilities
 

  • Define, own, and continuously evolve the firm's people strategy in alignment with business objectives, mission, and ethical standards.
 
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, talent risks, and succession planning.
 
  • Own the development, review, and approval of HR policies and procedures establish HR governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
 
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, providing interpretation and guidance to HR Managers.
 
  • Provide oversight and direction to HR operations, ensuring processes are effective, compliant, and scalable.
 
  • Review key HR metrics and recommend strategic interventions.
 
  • Advise leadership on sensitive matters including performance management outcomes, restructures, and terminations.
 
  • Support leaders in decision-making while ensuring fairness and legal defensibility.
 
  • Guide HR capability development, including mentoring HR Managers and strengthening HR practices.

Qualifications
 
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role within an international organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field.
  • Knowledge and expertise in HRM, HRD.
  • Sound knowledge of American and Canadian employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills as well as judgment and decision making competency.
  • Ability to plan strategically and ensure firm's mission and vision is adhered to.

  • Base salary of USD 80 - 90k per year depending on experience.
