The Senior Business Analyst supports the COO Office by analyzing complex operating models and end-to-end processes to design practical, future-state service delivery and system solutions. The role identifies root causes and translates finance, IT, AI, data, and process needs into clear workflows and business requirements. Ultimately, this role ensures all technology and operational changes are robust, workable, and deliver measurable business benefits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis of current state operating models, including roles, responsibilities, service delivery arrangements, governance, process ownership, sourcing, systems, controls, data flows and reporting.
  • Map and assess end to end global processes, identifying duplication, bottlenecks, manual workarounds, control gaps, unclear ownership and opportunities for simplification, standardisation or automation.
  • Lead requirements discovery, documentation and validation for COO Office, finance systems, IT, workflow, data analytics, AI, e signature and process improvement projects.
  • Challenge business assumptions, define root causes, identify constraints and help shape practical solution options that address the real operating problem.
  • Shape future state operating model design, including process flows, responsibility matrices, decision rights, service standards, sourcing options, governance arrangements and technology requirements.
  • Support Sun Accounts/SunSystems or equivalent finance system upgrades through process analysis, requirements gathering, UAT design, data validation, reporting checks and implementation documentation.
  • Define requirements for e signature tools, AI enabled workflow, automation, document management, secure digital approval processes, dashboards and reporting improvements.
  • Work with Finance, IT, Operations, Compliance, vendors and users to ensure solutions meet business needs, improve day to day working practices and maintain appropriate controls.
  • Prepare user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, test scripts, issue logs, business rules, process notes, user guidance and decision support materials.
  • Lead or support operating model decision papers, options analysis, benefits tracking, implementation plans, business readiness materials and post implementation learning.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years as a Senior BA, Process, Systems, or Operations Analyst.
  • Strong requirements leadership, process mapping, workflow design, operating model analysis, and root-cause problem solving.
  • Experience with finance/ERP platforms, CRMs (Dynamics 365 preferred), workflow systems, data analytics, and MS Office.
  • Ability to define current/future state processes, service models, governance, controls, and role responsibilities.
  • Experience leading UAT, data validation, defect tracking, requirements traceability, and benefits tracking.
  • Understanding of e-signatures, automation, AI tools, information security (access controls, audit trails), and data protection.
  • Excellent written English with a proven ability to draft clear requirements, process notes, and executive decision papers.
