The primary role of the Finance Assistant is to provide support to the real estate and finance teams by processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, chasing outstanding payments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and be allied to a keen sense of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Chase outstanding payments and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Support the real estate and finance teams with day-to-day financial activities
  • Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as required
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Strong command of the English adn Maltese language
  • Comfortable with using Finance IT systems (such as Info SunSystems), CRM and Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Direct experience in a similar role
