The Program Associate is responsible for continuing to build the Government Advisory Practice by developing and strengthening government relationships, securing new government mandates, and expanding Henley & Partners’ government advisory activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with third-party providers and key external stakeholders across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and onboard new external service providers and partner firms aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Represent Henley & Partners in high-level discussions with external stakeholders, positioning the firm and its services effectively to secure new collaborations and program opportunities.
  • Support the Chairman and CEO, when required, on Government Advisory initiatives and related strategic engagements.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for LATAM programs, ensuring deep understanding of program frameworks, regulatory updates, and market positioning.
  • Monitor and stay up to date with all program changes, legislative developments, and market dynamics, and communicate relevant updates across global offices.
  • Clearly and effectively disseminate information across global markets, ensuring alignment between business development, operations, marketing, and advisory teams.
  • Deliver training sessions and webinars to Global Private Client Advisors, Relationship Managers, and other internal departments to ensure program understanding and commercial readiness.
  • Evaluate the performance and commercial success of programs and third-party partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with established partners to ensure relationship continuity, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic value.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in program or project management within the immigration industry or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of immigration regulatory frameworks and program structures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing relationships with external stakeholders, service providers, and strategic partners.
  • Proven track record in negotiating contractual terms and commercial agreements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a leading accredited university.
  • Full proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, business development, and sales capabilities.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and represent the firm externally.
  • Capable of managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Clear, persuasive, and effective communicator across global and cross-cultural environments.
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical rigor, and organizational discipline.
